This policy covers subscriptionshealth.com and the Subscription Health Check plugin, published by WisdmLabs. It is WisdmLabs' company-wide privacy policy — the same one published at store.wisdmlabs.com/privacy — describing how WisdmLabs collects, uses, maintains and discloses information when you access its products or services. If you disagree with these terms, you may choose not to use WisdmLabs products or services.

Data collected and received by WisdmLabs

Personally identifiable information. WisdmLabs collects personally identifiable information when you visit the site, register, request services, fill in forms, purchase products, or request support. This includes name, email, phone number, and billing information when appropriate — collected only through voluntary submission. Refusing to provide it may prevent you from participating in certain site activities. WisdmLabs does not sell personal information to third parties.

Non-personal identifiable information. This includes browser name, the device used to access the site, and technical information such as the operating system, collected to improve service delivery. The extent of collection depends on your device type and settings.

Cookies. WisdmLabs and third-party applications use cookies to enhance your experience — storing shopping cart items, language preferences, notification triggers, and analytics data. You may delete or disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of certain services.

How WisdmLabs uses collected data

You remain the primary controller of your data while WisdmLabs processes it. Collected data is used for:

WisdmLabs discloses information only under these circumstances:

  • ▸To investigate illegal activity, suspected fraud, or a physical threat, where WisdmLabs reserves the right to disclose information as needed.

  • ▸With service providers and partners who help run the business — payment processing, analytics, and support — under WisdmLabs' instruction and data protection policies. Current partners include Google Analytics, Hotjar, Sendy, PayPal, Google Cloud, Google Ads, HelpScout, HubSpot, and Twilio.

Third-party apps, products and sites

If you purchase or connect a third-party app through WisdmLabs, that app's own privacy policy and terms of service apply — WisdmLabs does not control them and its own policy doesn't extend to cover them. The same applies to any third-party site linked from a WisdmLabs property. Review third-party policies before connecting an app or interacting with a linked site, and you may disconnect an app at any time if you object to how it shares information.

For our services

WisdmLabs employees who need system access for data storage and processing do so primarily for problem diagnosis and troubleshooting, and are prohibited from viewing your data except when necessary for that purpose.

Data deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing software@wisdmlabs.com. Data is deleted after confirmation. Deletion may be refused if: an ongoing project or support engagement still requires the information, a subscription's continued operation depends on it (for example, a site name needed to keep the plugin working), or a legal dispute requires the data to be retained until resolved.

Data retention

WisdmLabs uses U.S.-based hosting providers and technical security measures, but no security system is impenetrable — due to the nature of the internet, WisdmLabs cannot guarantee that data in transit or storage is absolutely safe from intrusion, and maintains response policies for that possibility.

Account information is retained until you delete your account or request deletion. Marketing and promotional information is retained based on your consent status unless you request deletion or unsubscribe. Cookie-derived information is retained until deleted; analytics tracking data is stored for 36 months.

Changes to this policy

WisdmLabs may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes are announced on the main policy page and by email. Check back periodically for updates.
